What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? NJ.

Will the state of MA recognize a durable power of attorney that was written for a NJ resident. This person is no longer competent to execute a new power of attorney and the POA designee would like to move the incompetent person from NJ to MA and be able to make decisions using the NJ power of attorney. Is this possible?

Does this alleged incompetent want to move to MA?

What is the relationship between the alleged incompetent and the POA?
