I was arrested in july because of commercial burglary in misdemeanor level. I stole liquor from a super market. I pleaded guilty in the county I was living in. They didn't let me out of juvenile hall because they said my parents could not control me. While in juvenile hall my mother moved out of county and closer to my father (in the same county he lives in). Then I was released to my father's custody. This was the first time living or even seeing my dad in over 4 years. A couple months after being sentenced to a year of formal probation I ran away from home. A couple weeks later I was picked up on a warent and spent a couple weeks in juvenile hall. I was released on Wardship. Now 8 months have gone by and haven't broken any of the terms of probation. My mom is moving out of county to get surgery done and I would like to move with her so I can get a job and help her til she is well. I have heard transferring probation is possible but not sure if it is a difficult thing to do. My problem is my dad doesn't want me living with my mom and I was arrested under her care. My father has a law degree and knows a lot about this stuff. So my main questions are.
How hard would it be to transfer my wardship to a different county?
Will my dad have any part in choosing where I live (my mom had full custody before wardship)?
What happens when and if I get my probation transfered (school wise, do I get another probation officer, and what am I looking at in terms of the length of wardship)?
Is there any way I can choose where my group home is if I choose to go that way?
