Hello, I am from Texas and this is a query about my transmission warranty.
I just had a major overhaul on the transmission in my van, it cost $1100 w/warrenty ($750 labor plus hard parts) I had it out for about 2 weeks and it stopped working, they came and got it and supposedly fixed it. When I went to pick it up one of the brake lines was busted and the battery was dead, I replaced the brake line (on there lot) and jumped off the battery. The transmission is still not working right, it acts as if it doesn't know which gear to be in and wont go into reverse correctly (I have to play with the shift) My questions are:
1. Do I have to trust them a third time to fix it or is there anything else I can do? I don't trust them any longer especially after the brake line and dead battery.
2. Are they required to give me a reciept for any warranty repairs they do? I asked for one on the repairs and they they wouldn't give me one. I have the original reciept.
3. Does my warranty start over each time they repair it? If they repair it 3 or 4 times and then in 6 months when the warrenty ends am I stuck if it breaks down?
Thank you, Chip

Oops, I did fail to mention it has a 6 month or 6000 mile warranty.
