What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Nevada

My neighbor came, asking me to cut all the branches of my tree that are over his backyard. I told him to do whatever he wants to do with them up to the property line at his expense. Then he offered me to split the expense of trimming the branches or else he is going to hire someone and send me the bill. I told him I will not pay him. Help!

**A: why do you need help? You told him the right thing.

Legally, isn't the neighbor in the right here. The owner of the tree would be responsible for paying for the removal of the branches; not the neighbor on whose property the tree is encroaching.

**A: what? Read the post. The property is in Nevada. Gambling is allowed in that state and in certain parts so is prostitution. so now that you are confused, then answer is, NO, the neighbor is not in the right.
