What is the name of your state? Washington State, Island County

During a recent severe wind storm my neighbors very large tree fell and sheered the corner of my garage off. According to her insurance company she is not liable for damages as it was an act of god, and that my insurance must pay it. Well I'm unemployed, receiving a little unemployment trying to go to college in worker retraining, I haven't contacted my insurance company as I need so much work done on my house I'm afraid as soon as they found this out I would be canceled (I had this happen in the past and it drained my savings between repairing tree damage and having to get other things repaired in order to get other than Loyds of London insurance), I have never recovered from this and never was able to get any more savings built up, nor do I have $1,000 for the deductable to get my garage repaired if I dared tell my insurance. Is there anything I can do? She has many large trees located around my garage that in the end if we get another storm could completely destroy my garage and car, now she knows (or thinks) she not liable for anything. My other insurance company canceled my insurance after the other tree damage (stated above) without me even making a claim, they just canceled me as I had other issues, dry rot in porch things like that. I have a ton of branches on my garage (from neighbor's tree) along with bad gutters and other small problems, I'm terrified this company will cancel me because of this. I checked about FEMA as they are considered making this a disaster area, but my garage is seperate and they won't help with that. I'm tired of other peoples trees damaging my home and garage (they all have money) and they get off scott free and I have to suffer. This is all very trying and stressful in my current situation. Hope I don't sound to craybabyish, but I'm at a loss as to what to do.
Thanks,
Faerynutt

You have 2 choices:
1. File the claim with your insurance company.
2. Pay to repair the damage to the garage yourself.
