What is the name of your state? MA Several (4) of our neighbors trees have fallen in our yard over the last 10 years,
one a very large pine tree landing on our house resulting in a homeowners claim in the thousands. Just recently, two more large branches (too heavy to be picked up by hand) fell, brushing our house. One very large branch is still hanging in the tree, and were it to fall, would most likely cause damage. Can we demand that the neighbors remove the branch? We suspect they're waiting for it to just fall. Also, if we mention and show them the branch, and they still do nothing, and the branch falls, causing damage, are they liable because we made them aware of the situation?
