I own property, main house I live in with my family and guest house a family member lives in, she has a very abusive boyfriend who has verbally and physically abused me ( I did not file a formal complaint about the Physical abuse but did speak to an officer)My question, Do I have a right to tell the boyfriend to stay off my property? I am truly afraid of him. The family member and I have a written agreement that she can live there forever, but her name is NOT on my deed as a life tenant, also she is suppose to pay her utilities and she has not paid her water bill in over a year. What should I do?

You may have a mother who is a loving person, My mother only knows how to love a bottle...I am willing and have always been willing to help her with that. Her boyfriend who is a control freak....and takes her car keys when he leaves for work so she cant go anywhere..and leaves her with a bottle of RUM, He had been physically and verbally abusive to my family and myself, I will not allow my children to go thru what I went thru living with a drunk! And I will not allow a nut case to disturb my family on my own property, so If it means keeping my family safe...then OUT SHE GOES!
