Massachusetts. My friends told me there was a party they were going to, and apparently the party was on a golf course which I did not know. We drive up the golf course drive, and a man comes out and takes our plates, telling us to leave immediately and any damages to the course we would be responsible for. I apologized and left immediately. Am I responsible for any damages to the course from that party?

No, you are not. You did nothing more than drive up the golf course driveway and leave. You are not responsible for any damage that anyone else did.

Now, that doesn't mean that the golf course won't try to include you in any lawsuit, but it does mean that they should not be able to win a suit against you.
