trial date set

had a phone pre trial for my dui case and they didnt want to minimize the charge. My lawyer set a trial date today for march. My question is, is it 100% sure ill have my trial on the said day by the judge? or do they ever get busy with other things and change the date? or is it a common thing to keep dragging it till they through it out?

i guess my lawyer knows what hes doing but suggestions would be great.
