What is the name of your state?ky

Would like info on someone that has been to court with these cards.
Don't have the money to pay them off. Citi wants us in court in April.

What info are you looking for?

Both are aggressive and use the courts to collect debt.

If you fail to respond to the summons, they will be awarded a default judgment.

If you respond to the summons and confess to the judge that you owe the debt, then they will be awarded a judgment.

You could fight the judgment if you have grounds to fight or some sort of counterclaim.

If the judgment is awarded then the creditor may be able to garnish your wages or empty your bank account.

One option is to try to make a deal with the attorney for the creditor to make payments on the debt.

Another option would be to file bankruptcy -- bankruptcy is a decision to be made with careful consideration because it affects you for a very long time.

just received a letter from the Discover lawyer and he admitted on the questions that i sent him that Request for addmissions I asked .
Admit that the plantiff understands that by federal and state law banks can only lend money and not credit? his response was admit
also asked him to Admit that the plantiff never loaned any of their depositors money to fund the defendants credit card account. His response was objection but he denied 8 other questions. the concern is that the same lawyer and Discover on my husband case he denied everything but mine he never . can this be soom kind of clause to help fight them.

You are playing the "debt elimination" defense. Personally, I don't believe it works. Banks lend real money. The argument you are making does not do anything constructive for you.

So, I am certainly not the right person to give advice on how to execute the defense you are wanting to use.

Perhaps caliber or mamaluna would help you. Check other messages here on this board and you might find an email address or be able to send them a private message.

By the way, God invented punctuation and sentence construction so it would be easier to understand what you wrote. It is a little hard to follow.
