On 6/23/04 a female coworker/friend served me with a temporary restraining order. The final court date wasn't until 12/9/04. At that time her attorney approached mine and asked if I was willing to sign an agreement in which neither of us contacted each other. I agreed, and this was entered in the record. To date I have not received this agreement. When I phoned my attorney, he said he would send the agreement, but instead sent an increased bill. What should I do? If I do not receive the agreement, can a permanent restraining order be issued against me by default?

Have you talked with your attorney regarding these concerns? If not I would suggest you have a sit down and ask Councel what is going on. It could very well be mis-communication. It sounds to me as though maybe the facts are not as they seem. If you are not happy with your Attorney after you have talked to he or she, then you can fire and retain someone else. For what it's worth. Not advise Patrolman/J. Buckner
