What is the name of your state?undefinedWhat is the name of your state?Virginia
I purchased a new computer from a well known computer manufacturer 2 years ago. I have had nothing but problems with the computer since that time. I have talked numerous times to the tech support, and after hours of hold time, and trouble shooting, I have had to reload XP 5 times and still have no resolve. I work from Home for a Court Reporting firm and need the use of my computer. I have lost income due to these ongoing issues.
After my last discussions with the manufacturer, they decided it was a software issue, and I needed to purchase support for that. After doing so, the Software tech determined that it was NOT a software issue and indead a hardware issue. (also commenting that the hardware support always dumps there stuff onto them, when it is they're problem to begin with.)
So after much aggrevation and discuss, my computer is still in the same state, and I am $125 less.
This is a short version of my story. All I ever wanted from this company is a working computer, whether they fixed my old one or gave me a replacement.
I'm not too sure what kind of case I have, if any. Any advise would be appreciated.
My motive for this is not only to receive compensation, but also to make an example out of this company. They only want to make money on the product, but not satisfy the consumer after the sale is made. This has been a very stressful 2 years (off & on) because of this issue, and at times, puts my job in jeopardy of not being available for work.

You have been going through this for two years? And you expect to be compensated?

Good luck. You have had ample change to remedy the situation, up to and including sending back the computer and demanding a replacement or your money back.

You did not. So good luck finding a judge to hear this.

Not for lack of trying

I understand what your saying.. but this isnt for a lack of trying on my part.. I've been talking with these idiots for 2 yrs.. trying to do things the "right way". And from what I've read online from other customers, this isnt just an occasional occurrence.
But thanks for the opinion.
