Good to hear. So what's your concern?
I was concerned there may be some loophole somewhere that I couldn't find in 3 weeks of research as to why my not being a parent may interfere with the current custody arrangement. I have my answer.what's your concern?
Will it be?Oh, okay. Is your answer that it will be a factor considered by the court in any future modifications of custody?
Makes sense.Yes, it will be, along with a lot of other factors. But, yes.
Makes sense.
I just hope that the best interests of the child is paramount in any future dealings with the court.
Along with that pesky thing called the constitution.Your interpretation and the court's may vary.
I pray that they do this. There will hopefully be a GAL appointed for the child.
One of the reasons we've retained a lawyer. All parties should be involved if they so desire. And the father/putative father and John Doe will be served properly so that they can participate for the sake of the child.
