My new husband recently signed an Irrevocable Trust and named his two daughters as trustees of that trust. He also signed a General Assignment, giving them control of the property NOW. I need to know how easy it is to dispute a trust of this type ... they had him in the attorneys' office the day before our wedding, bribed him and made him feel guilty saying "We can't come to your wedding if you don't sign this paper, Dad", and also my husband had no counsel to advise him before signing. How difficult would it be to dispute this trust? Or, maybe just dispute the general assignment so we can re-finance without having his daughters involved? We are desparate and need help ... should we seek counsel to further this action?

You will need a lawyer to help you. This is a tricky thing, and he may NOT be able to get out of it. The law does not prevent pressure being placed on someone. Absent fraud or mistake, he may be bound, and that's what you need a lawyer to tell you.
