I hope this is the right section, anyway a so called friend and I went in halves in buying a few cars to sell and he still owes me money to make things even. The cars are all in my name and he has them at his house.
Things have soured and I have asked him to pay me the rest of the money to even up then we will split the cars evenly.
He wont do it and wont let me get any of the cars as they are on his property.
Also nothing was put in writing.
Is there anything I can do?
Thanks

My response:

Yes - - spend oodles of money in litigation trying to enforce this "shoestring" partnership, and trying to get your money and cars.

Only you can determine whether to spend the money to enforce any presumed rights, or to merely call it a day.

Good luck to you.
