I entered into a repayment agreement with my employer that if I quit my job (before a certain time period), I must repay the amount to the company. This contract was executed in October 2003.

In May 2004, the company spun-off my division into a new public company. My employment was terminated with my previous employer and I was automatically hired with the new public company.

I have not signed any agreement with the new company. Is the repayment agreement enforceable?

Only an Illinois attorney who has read the entire agreement can answer that questions.
