Hi I live in Ontario, Canada.

Does anyone know why some TV Shows get logged and some shows do not. I have writen all the music for 2 Fitness shows playing on Fox Sports New York.

Played twice a day for a full year. I've recieved very little in royalties from BMI. BMI said that some stations do not log all the shows they air. Is this Legal? Is this a common practice? I know in Canada stations are required to log their shows with an authorized organization for the tracking of that show. Eg. CRTC and or Socan. Is this not the same in the U.S.? Eg. FCC, BMI, HarryFox, ASCAP.

There is more to this and I'd like to know more.

It sounds like you might have a case of contract breach. Consult a lawyer -- you'll get nowhere trying to deal with a TV corp by yourself.
