I have recordings of a soap opera for my own personal use. On one of the soap message boards people are requesting tapes of the show. Can I charge to mail copies? How, if at all, can I do this legally? Does how many I send out make a difference?

Recording the TV shows for your own personal use is fine. The TV networks would frown upon any other use of their programs. And they are allowed to charge some fairly hefty civil penalties per violation ($10,000 per) if you are caught.
