CA.

My Wife received two tickets on 5-18-06, one for expired meter at 12:17 PM and another for overtime meter at 12:18 on the same day. I plan on submitting an appeal. Any advice?

Thanks.

What kind of appeal do you plan on submitting for your wife's tickets?

Not sure yet. I was hoping to get some ideas from you guys. I know it's probably completely legal what the officer did but that's just really a chicken sh.t thing to do. Write a $30 ticket, stand there for a few seconds and then write another for $40. Do I have any ground to stand on at all?

First, unless you are a licensed attorney, you can't do ANYTHING about your wifes tickets.
Second, she has NO defense against the ticket(s).

BTW, what are the specific VC statutes noted on the tickets??
