I have recently gave two weeks notice at my currant emp.., now that it will go through the new year, am I elligable for my 2000 1 wk vacation pay, [the only thing that shows that I have recieved vac pay is it is on my pay stub.] can they say now that your leaving we are not going to pay you this.

Someone would have to read the entire benefits plan and employee booklet to tell you.

Usually 1 week's vacation doesn't happen if you make it 1 day into the new year -- it starts to accrue on day 1 but only a few hours at best would accrue.

The answer to your question depends on whether you had already earned that vacation prior to your tendering notice. If so, then the provisions of your employee benefits plan would govern the situation. For the best answer though, you need to talk to your Human Resource shop. OK?
