I live in Texas. I have recently changed employers and health insurance companies.
Could my former health insurance company be legally asked for information about my past claims by my new insurance company? Do health insurers share this type of information?
The reason I'm wondering is that I was in short-term psychotherapy for a few months while working for my former employer. This caused no problems with anyone, but I can't help but wonder if my new employers know about it.
