What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ohio

My 17 year old child was one of three passengers in a vehicle that was pulled over. The driver was 18 and was given a breathalizer which was passed (.000). The officer on suspicion of alcohol administered a breathalizer to all passengers and my child blew a .061 and was handcuffed and take to the police station and released to my custody. I was told we have no court date and will be contacted by the juvenile officer. What can I hope to expect that this will be handled within the juvenile division of the police department and not forwarded to the court?

If your city has a Juv Diversion program and a first offense she should expect a fine and some community service and probably will be home bound for awhile. That's if you agree. If you fight it then it will be sent to court.
