What is the name of your state? New Jersey

i am 16 years old and friday night i was at a house party where there was alcohol. There were about 25 people. Around 10PM i was outside and i saw an unmarked crown vic pull up and walked to the back of the house and started to run but then stopped as i saw them coming after me. at that point they were in the house rounding everyone up in the kitchen. Once we were in the kitchen they searched our wallets, bags and jackets and patted us down. Then they proceeded to ask us if we drank I said yes and they seprated us into two groups then filled our juvinelle release forms, we called our parents they signed them and came picked us up. They also did lie because when they asked us if we were drinking they said dont lie cause we wont want to give you a catheter test for no reason and the people who said they werent drinking didnt get the test. So they lied about it.This was all of ours first time offence. Did the cops do anything illegal? and also what would be the next step in this process or is that it? Thanks

Based solely on the facts you put in your post, the cops did nothing illegal.

But, what is a catheter test?

A catheter is a thin and flexible tube inserted into a bodily passage or cavity in order to allow fluids to pass into or out of it, to distend (expand) it, or to convey diagnostic or other instruments through it

Thank you for that info, but it does not answer my question, which I will ask again:

What is a catheter test?

I think they use the cathater to withdrawn urine from the body to test. I am not positive thought
I am assuming that your post is a joke. Bye.

This is not a joke and i am not a medical expert but from reading the description of what a cathater is and adding test to it to test for substances this is my best guess

To do a blood test, a medical person must draw a blood sample. To do a urine test, you pee in a bottle.

Seniorjudge: There is more than one way to test one's body for substances.

meltingplastic8: This will go on your record, and a lot more will follow, including a trial. A judge may sentence you to AA classes and possibly suspend or revoke your license.

I know that!

I saw it on CSI!

For Christ's sake - they are NOT going to catheterize a bunch of teens to check whether they were drinking or not.
