Hey everyone im just looking for a little help here..Last night my friends blindfolded me and took me to a suprise birthday party..Mind you i turned 18 on December 22nd, approx. 5days ago..it was a late suprise bday party but it was awesome..Well my friend did feel safe being there anymore so she asked me if we could leave and i said ok..So i called my buddy and there like ya we'll come get you..They were both sober..So they get there and my one buddy goes drives me friends car (the girl)..And im riding in his truck with my other buddy..Well we stopped on a road because she had to puke so we both pulled over..well the cop then whipped back around and pulled us over because his truck didnt have a front liscnace plate cause he took it off cause he usually has his plow on but he had taken it off a few days before..I was a passenger the whole time..So he comes over and asks for my id and i give it to and then he has me get out and do a sobriety test..And then he had me blow into the breathalizer..Well i blew a .112 =(...she blew a .074 or something..so he gave us both underage drinking tickets..Well i have court this tuesday..And i would really appriate the best course of acting and what kinda charges/fines am i looking at..Will i be on probation?I would ask if i should get a lawyer but i really can't afford one because im still in highschool and only work maybe 15/hours a week..Any help will be greatly appreciated

Over 18 and under 21 is a misdemeanor and the fine could be as much as $1000 (plus costs) and up to six months in jail. First offense offers a diversion program in most places. That's typically six months, community service, fine, and alcohol abuse class. Great deal if it's offered because you don't end up with a criminal record. Don't screw it up. No drinking or otherwise breaking the rules while on the diversion probation or you'll get double whammied (charged on the new charges as well as the original ones).

Well i have court this tuesday..And i would really appriate the best course of acting
Gee... sounds like your best action would be to say 'guilty as charged, your Honor'.

and what kinda charges/fines am i looking at.
Your 'charge' is what you were cited for. Fines/penalty, depends on the EXACT charge.... and your prior history.... and however the court feels that day.

Will i be on probation?
Probably.

I would ask if i should get a lawyer but i really can't afford one because im still in highschool and only work maybe 15/hours a week.
Ask the court to provide an attorney for you.
