Sometime last year, with details of my ex's income, I filed for a CS modification. The original order was issued in 2002 for $141 weekly for two kids, based on ex's income of $425 weekly. Ex was known to have worked for a company with a base starting salary of $900 weekly when I filed for review. CSE sent a income deduction order to new employer on 12/8/07, and has just been recently advised that he no longer works there either. Ex is jumping from one job to another to avoid cs payments. He only pays large "purge" amounts when he is in jeopardy of losing his license. I received a first review notice that a increase was warranted, then today received another that a decrease was warranted based on his unemployement. A call to the hotline informed me that he requested a decrease (permenant) because of unemployment. The unemployment is recent, within the last month. The customer service rep told me that if the decrease was issued, I would have to wait 3 years to get a new review. How can they issue a permanent decrease because of a recent unemployment? Is there anyway that I can ensure that if the decrease does go through, that it will only be a temporary order so that it can be modified when he returns to work?
