I live in Georgia
This post was posted under civil litigations and I think this is the place it should be-
I would like to know if I have some type of protection from my car being repo'd. I did not purchase nor was I asked about purchasing the insurance that will pay the car if I became unemployed. Now I am into the third month behind in car payment. I have been seeking employment, ready to work anywhere. I need the car to look for jobs. I was laid off, not fired. My unemployement benefits is over. Aside from the obvious (pay the car notes) is there protection against the car being picked up?
By the way I purchased the car brand new in 2002 it was a 2003 Toyota it was a 5 year payment plan
