Hi,

I live in New Jersey. I hope that I am writing in the correct forum. If not, can somebody redirerect me?

I just started collected unemployment insurance.

My 10 month contract ended on June 30th, and this is what I was paid up until. However, I only worked until the 24th.

Unemployment wants to use a partial week to use in the formula which has significantly reduced the amount of money that I will be collecting. They don't want to hear any other answers.

Should I have HR from my previous job call them directly? What is the best solution for this situation.

Thanks for reading,

Jimmy
