my question is related to an internet trading network. an issue has been raised concerning unfair restraint of trade. businesses apply for membership, submit financial information, then their request for membership is announced to the network. if any existing member has verifiable information regarding the new applicant good or bad the information is discussed. there was alot of discussion about this applicant.
the site owners posted a message that the company was denied membership due to lack of financial information. it looked to some existing members as though the company was denied membership due to business practices which are not illegal, but caused major concern with other members.
i am not the applicant who was denied, but would like to speak with some knowledge of "unfair restraint of trade". could someone enlighten me?
