What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Maryland

I have an interesting situation. I was involved in a very abusive marriage for 30 years, during a difficult period I signed a quit claim deed giving my husband (he was still my husband at the time) claim to our house for $0. He never filed the deed or included it in the divorce which I didn't fight because I just wanted it over.

Now 2 years later he tried to file the deed and apparently the wording was incorrect and his lawyer wants me to sign a corrected deed.

I am wondering if I have any legal rights to fight for my share of the property since we did own the house together. We have been apart for 4 years and my head is clearer.

Do I have any legal rights since I signed the original deed?

If the original quit claim deed was invalid, then you are in the bargaining position.

IF (big word) the land was not disposed of in the judgment in your lawsuit, then tell him you want your share.

**A: do not sign anything. Go to see a real estate attorney so you can claim your rightful share..
