What rights does a graphic artist/web designer have when a company uses
work provided without compensation and with no legal agreement of
ownership?
There is an agreement for the client company to issue "units" of equity
value in the company, and a proposal defining the work to be done, but
neither of those documents define ownership retention. Can I claim
ownership rights to the work (graphics) provided, by law, and possibly
make a compensation claim against the company based on ownership rights
established by case law or code?
Thanks
