I am a law school graduate. What I offer is mere information, not to be construed as forming an attorney client relationship.

You will need to repost the question, I think.

The wife hit a car and the wife's insurance had lapsed? Who was responsible for paying the car bills? Was it the wife or your friend?

Was the car insurance part of the business expenses?

Who was driving the car?

Please be a little more clear.
