What is the name of your state? GA

I was recently arrested for driving on a suspended license and at the time of my arrest I had my 6m old baby with me. One of the officers asked me if there was somebody I could call to get my baby. I told him yes her grandparents, so he called and her grandfather came but another officer at the scene called DFCS and they refused to let he grandfather get her so my child was taking into custody by DFCS. After I was released the same night I had to call back down to the police department to get some information on where my child was. After I contacted the caseworker she told me I couldn't see or get my child back until we go to court (three days later). Also that the officers had told her that I didn't have anybody at the scene to get my child and that I had mutiple outstanding warrants. ALL UNTRUE. I go to court and the judge ordered that they return my child back to immediately. Is there something that can be done about this the police lied and my child was taken for what I felt was no reason?

Contact the chief of police and file a formal complaint against the officer. That's about all you can do.
