i've technically been declared an independent since both my parents have died and i need a driver's license. with this information, is there anyway that i can convince the iowa DOT that i need a license? i have a MS permit and have had it for a while as well. also, although it is a MS permit can i still legally drive with a licensed 21-year old in iowa?
