What is the name of your state? NC

My dumb fcuk boyfriend filed bankruptcy 10/14/05. Due to the backup and a mix up with the courts his discharge got extended another 60 days, so as of yet it's still open.
Here's the problem... I'm planning to move and tried to get power on in his name. He had a past due balance (from years ago) that he forgot to include in his filing. Can I send them a generic letter with a copy of his filing letting them know he filed BK, to have it dismissed? Or will I have to pay to have them added?

I also have a past due balance with the same company... so I guess I'm a dumbfcuk too. But my case is already discharged, will I have to reopen my case to include them?

Depends on the law in your district if the creditor will accept a notice that he'd filed.
If they won't, you'll need to amend the filing to add the creditor or, they can continue to refuse service.

Just a shot in the dark but, go to your districts website and see if it may be in the FAQ's.
If not, I'd pay for a short consultation with a local bk attorney.
