What is the name of your state? PA

Earlier this year, I had a teacher say several unappropriate comments to me regarding my race, however, he claims they were not in malice!?! Despite this, I still felt the full effect of his racial comments. I have yet to inform an administrator in fear the teacher may alter my grade or give me a hard time. Is this worth bringing to court?

What purpose would you have in going to court?

I'd like to give you an answer such as to prevent him from doing it again. But really what I want is for him to be repremanded for this. This man has tenure, the admin. would simply give him slight slap on the hand and then forget about it. I don't want him to think he could get away with saying something so obscure and blantly racist.

In that case, I think you should move your thread to the "Civil Rights and Discrimination" forum. Your problem has little to do with Educational Law.

Good Luck
