I had a complaint regarding my seller account on EBay and tried several times to get it resolved. After asking the customer service rep for the name of his supervisor, he wrote back saying that his supervisor said the same thing he said. After asking for the name of his supervisor's supervisor, he wrote back saying the matter was resolved and any future emails from me would be read and deleted.

There is no way that I can find to contact anyone in authority there and I am wondering if that's even legal. Can a business just arbitrarily decide a matter is resolved when it obviously isn't and try to squelch any further communication?

I am not some whacked out crazy person with some outrageous complaint. It was legitimate and I expected to be treated with dignity and respect. It was extremely insulting to be treated like that.

I appreciate help in this matter. Thank you.

What was your complaint or problem? Ebay is just a venue and doesn't take responsibility for its members, that is why there is a feedback system.

Well, I made a payment on the 3rd of the month thru paypal to prevent having my bank account charged. They went ahead and charged it anyway, without incorporating the payment into the billing cycle. What I mean is, they obviously credited my account but that payment didn't stop them from trying to get an additional payment for the accumulated fees after the 3rd. They have it so that if you have anything due on the 15the of the month, they will charge the account you have on file, regardless of whether or not you've just made a payment. I know it's complicated but I don't think that's fair. When I protested, one customer service rep first wrote back saying they would credit my seller account within 30 days but he didn't say how much. Then a few days went by and another charge to my bank account ensued. I thought the first rep had understood the dilemma and assumed he had taken care of it. When the second attempt was made to charge my bank account, a new rep wrote back who was of no help whatsoever and in fact was very patronizing. When I wrote back that his response was unacceptable, and asked for the name of his supervisor he wrote back saying his supervisor said the same thing he did. When I wrote and asked for his supervisors supervisor, he wrote back and said the issue was resolved and any further emails would be read and deleted. I honestly have never been treated like that and it doesn't even seem like it's legal.

P.S. This isn't a complaint against another member. It's a problem I am having with my seller account.
