What is the name of your state?colorado My ex-husband recently passed away and had a life insurance policy that named his new wife as sole beneficiary. He also has two adult children that he told his wife were on the policy. He did not sign the policy, does this invalidate her as his sole beneficiary and make his children entitled to some percentage of this policy?

You need to check with the insurance compaony to see what THEY have to say about it. The lack of signature may not affect the beneficiary designation but it might otherwise invalidate the policy if the insurance company uses that as an excuse not to pay. If the man has been paying his premiums, then it is likely the insurance company will pay the benefit.
