I have received numerous checks from my auto insurance company for glass replacement from various policy holders. (i.e. The insurance company thinks I did the repairs). The question is "What would happen to me if I cashed these checks?" I contacted the company the first time this happened and they told me to mail the check back (which I did). They obviously have not corrected their problem and I wish to take advantage.

Don't do it. You could be prosecuted for a crime. Just return the checks.
