What is the name of your state? I live in California. Less than two weeks ago I purchased a Lexus ES300 (Year 2000, 32,000 milage) with three years extended warranty from Hayward Toyota. Before the purchase I asked the salesman i the car has been in ab accident. He told me no and showed me the Autocheck Vihecal History Report. No accidended report was noted. I took the car to my mechanic and he told me the car has been in an accident before and it is been completly repainted.

What should I do?
Can I return the car?
How Much time do I have if any?
What options do I have?

Thanks

Enjoy your new repainted car.

Not unless the dealer is willing to (voluntarily) buy it.

See above.

Your option were to have the car checked by a mechanic before purchasing. The salesman's reliance on some printout saying 'no accidents' is likely not going to be a sufficient basis to prevail on a fraud/knowing misrepresentation claim.

But the real beauty of it is if/when you sell the car to someone else now, if you don't tell them about the accident damage, they can sue you for knowingly concealing the truth. Don't life suck sometimes?

Hire an attorney on a contingency basis.
This happened to a friend of mine and he hired an attorney. There was a cash settlement. I have been told this dealer has and still conducts business in this same manner.
Also turn them into the Better Business Bureau.
