My roommate has been in the house for approx 8 months in Southern California. My landlord never revised the lease when he moved in. She just had him fill out an emergency contact form, which also contained information on where he should send his rent. My name in still on the original month to month lease.

We have had our differences, and I have told him that I need to find another roommate. Unfortunately, he is resistant to leave. Even my landlord would like him to leave without the worries of being sued. What is the easiest and/or quickest way to get him out.
