update, and ?? child support in FL

For any who know about my upcoming (12/6) court date for arrears (the 5th), my ex put 167.00 in the clerks office today. The first support since May!! He is supposed to pay 520.50 plus 20% arreaers a month. Nothing like the threat of jail to open his wallet
Now my question. I know my ex hired a PI to follow me around, but he did not list them on his witness list. Can I depose and call them as MY witnesses? Or in any way get a copy of their report? Or do PI's have confidentalty? This is for the mod of custody.

All I know about the matter is that FL is a two party state so any type of electronic communication would not be permissable.

The PI will site confidentalty. Also, I do not see why you would call him. You have an open and shut case and there is no need to introduce problems for yourself.

I had only thought about it. My ex has made so many accusations I thought maybe the PI could tell the court that I don't do the things my ex says ie. hang out at bars, deal drugs (this one is sooo funny if you really know the whole situation). My second reason is (and this is in his financal aff) so I can just point it out to the judge. Is he has spent at LEAST 15,000. between the PI and the lawyer but can even pay half (or most months any) of his child support. *S* He could have ALMOST paid all his arrears instead and we would still be at the same place with the custody thing.

You do not need the PI for that.. just show the judge the FA and point it out. The judge is not stupid, he will know. Good luck and let us know how it goes..
