What is the name of your state? MO
RMet was nice enough to request an update on my GAL visit from this weekend.
So... (and I know I already posted this once, but the thread is missing)...
She arrived a little bit early on Sunday evening, so I was still loading the dinner dishes into the dishwasher and the kids were packing their lunches for Monday. She hung out in the kitchen while we finished up, and then talked to the girls about their weekend at their dad's house.
After a little idle chit chat, she asked for a tour of the house and then her and the girls went into their bedroom to talk - for maybe 20 minutes.
They came back out and she said she was going to take some pictures of the inside of the house to (her words) show that the ex is wrong about my house not being orderly or clean. Then she took some pics of the kids holding the baby and the puppies and the cat and being goofy on the couch (I'm guessing to make them not think that her taking pics in the house was weird?).
She promised the girls copies of the pictures, made sure they had her business card and knew that they could call her anytime, admired the youngest girl's new umbrella, and was ready to leave. I walked her outside, and she said she was going to take some pics of the outside of the house to (again, her words) be able to prove 'him' wrong about the condition of the house. She patted my shoulder, told me not to worry, petted the dogs, took her pics and left.
All in all, I think it was excellent.
