What is the name of your state? CA
Hi Miss Met and everyone else. I was on line asking a question in another forum from a friend and thought I should update you all. If you've been following my threads than here is the update.
I saw 3 of my 4 sons in supervised visitation on Sat. 5/27 and Sat. 6/3. My other son was in a BB tournament in Vegas on the 27th and in Long Beach on the 3rd. I felt frustrated because in letters and emails I have asked their mother for game schedule and I rushed back from Fresno on the 3rd to hunt down any high school BB tournaments in my area after my other sons told me their brother was right in Long Beach where I live. I called his travelling coach 4 different times on Sat. and Sun and he never returned my calls.
My visit with the 3 on the 27th was very good, although my youngest son was extremely rude and for the first 1/2 hour kept his ear phones on listening to music while I spoke to him. I ignored it and spent time with the other 2. I brought board games and we started playing, then the younger one asked to join in. They all seemed reluctant at first but in the end gave me hugs. I was glad, yet still so sad in my heart. The supervisor stayed in a corner reading and never said anything. I was glad. They refused to tell me where their brother was and later told me on the 2nd visit he had been in LV. I was upset, because I have a brother there who would've loved to take his sons to visit my son and watch him play.
The 2nd visit on the 3rd I was not given 2 weeks notice as the order states, yet when I tried to reach my atty his sec said he was gone for the week and she could not get CYS the supervising facility to change the date, since my ex chose them already lying saying our sons would be gone the entire June and July saying I cannot see them until July 29th, leaving 8 full weeks of no visits for me and the kids. Anyway, I am trying to stay positive, but it's hard. My parents called and told me they asked to have the boys visit them in Riverside and my ex said they would be spending the entire summer in another state with her parents. Is there a law to help my parents out? I know for a fact she is lying, the 2 oldest boys must stay in fresno due to sports, but she usually only sends the kids to her parents the last 2 weeks of July and now all of a sudden when I have a few visits in the summer, she is supposedly sending them away all summer. What can I do? I will be talking to my atty next week and telling him of my frustrations.
Anyhow, where it stands is she still seems in control, although I had two good visits, the first in over a year and a half. Court is on Aug. 1st after I see them once more on July 29th. Funny though, she scheduled visits on Sats our BB son is never available. I've asked for June 17th and July 1st which are both free Saturdays for all of our sons, but no luck. I'll wait to see what my atty says.
Thanks! DD
