NY: my mother lives in my guest house, rent free, I can't get her out! We have a written agreement that she can live there. My brother drove up from NC to stay with dear old MOM, Yesterday morning Brother came over to say hi and make small talk..Mom follows, walks right into my house..says she wants to get some stuff out of my basement (which has been down there for over 8 years) and she wants it NOW, I explain to mommy dearest that really she should have given me some type of advance notice as the stuff she wants is under a stairwell behind and antique desk and I just did not have time to do it at that moment....well, the old drunk headed for the basement door, I stood in front of her and told her that I could have her STUFF out another day but NOT today! I asked her to please remove herself from my home, not only once but twice I asked her to leave. I finally told her if she did not leave that I would call the NYS Troopers, and did, Trooper Bob came out and removed her from my home. Come to find out the STUFF she was looking for were about 10 cabbage patch dolls!
This morning my hubby and I removed about 90% of her stuff from my basement, and advised her that on April 14th the garage would also be cleaned out and she will have to make herself available to collect her "STUFF". Was this the right way to handle this?

YES you mom is a louse and a LEECH.......

Kick her and the dumb loser brother out.....

as long as she has No claim to the property, such as a life lease or she didnt give you say $50,000 to buy the property in exchange for her living there...

Then she has NOTHING to sue you over.
