Hey! I know it's been awhile. It's been a rough month! Here's the latest: Everything was going fine until...
Bio-troll ("mother") came to visit ss this past weekend. We had informed her a month earlier about his sports stuff on Saturday (team pictures and a game - his dad is the coach).
Anyhow, she picked him up, asked for directions to the sports stuff and left. On Saturday, we get a call from a very upset child that bio-troll WILL NOT be taking him to ANYTHING because it's raining. (this is 5 hours before she's supposed to be there). I called her to tell her the pics will be taken inside, not in the rain. She sounded unsure, saying "well, maybe I can do that". I then said that the game had not yet been cancelled so he really should be there... But she yelled at me that this is HER weekend and she doesn't have to do anything if she doesn't want to. I told her that she is correct, but that she can explain that to her child herself. She then hung up on me. (She has done this before, to the point where ss does not want her to visit him anymore because she promises to take him places then doesn't once she has him).
I called her back and asked if she would at least bring him to the pics. She yelled again that she had already told me she would. I told her, that she sounded like she wasn't sure a minute ago. She said I was stirring up trouble and hung up again. Whatever.
Well, she got to the pics on time, and cornered me there saying she never intended to NOT take him to his soccer stuff. Hmmm. I ignored her and she came up to my husband and me and repeated it. She also said that she doesn't know where son got the idea that she wasn't going to bring him. My husband asked her "So you're saying he made all of it up on his own?" She said "Yes, that's what I'm saying". Whenever ss tells us something she's done, she ALWAYS says he's lying!
Funny thing is, the game ended up being cancelled!
One last thing, ss called us on Sat. after all of this happened, to tell us they had changed hotels. When I was talking to him (about 30 seconds into the conversation), he hung up on me which is very unlike him. I was in the middle of telling him goodbye. When he got home on Sun, his dad asked him about it. He said Kim (bio-troll) told him that the hotel has a rule that you're not allowed on the phone at night, so he could only call for a minute. When he was talking she kept telling him he had to hang up or they would get into trouble. He was trying to say goodbye to me, but she put her finger on the "hang up button"!
