What is the name of your state? vt. Hi all...I had posted in here in regards to an issue I had at a job in 2005. I found a great attny. Anyways, I want everyone to know that my case was settled. I am very happy with the outcome, due to having a good attny, great advise from people in here which helped me understand my rights, and what direction to go into. I learned much information from this forum. One of the most important factors I learned in this forum is what is illegal harassment. (Yup, there is legal harassment) LOL. I was harassed by email, I complained, I was retaliated against, I was moved, then fired. When I did finally find an attorney, I knew how to present my case to him ONLY because of the advise and help from this forum. I learned that sexual harassment is NOT calling names, someone bullying you, or treating you differently from other employees. I learned that you can be fired for anything and everything, and the only way it becomes a WRONGFUL termination is when the firing is based ONLY upon your sex, gender or race.
