New issues in ongoing lease purchase problems.

Had a car dealership owner come to our business this morning, saying that seller had told him to come to us for money that seller owes him. Situation was explained, dealer stated that he knew seller was lying to him, just needed proof. Said he would take care of situation.

Seller then came in after dealer called him demanding money again. Seller was at our business trying to demand $5000 - $6000 by end of day.

Purchase contract states closing is to be Sept. 14.

Lease addendum states that it began March 14, and will end at closing per purchase contract.

What legal recourse do we have against seller for sending auto dealer to us for HIS debt? Is this even remotely legal?????

What recourse do we have for the demand for money by end of day, that is not mentioned anywhere in either contract?

Have called my lawyer, and he is out of town until Friday. Is supposed to be calling me this afternoon from his cell phone.
