What is the name of your state? Missouri

Ok, I was looking through google, and I typed in my actual name.. and a distasteful website popped up.. it was homosexual pornography. I am discussed, and also I am a up and coming Entertainer.. could this website be considered as something that slanders my name? What steps do I take?

Keep in mind I am not of legal age yet.

Amendment I Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

Durn, you are usually fast on your feet, thought you got that one...

My response:

Oh, I KNEW I was going to need my Secret Decoder Ring today.

First, I had Freedom of Speech in mind, and was not thinking of "redress" - - but now I get it - - it was your way of making a play on words! Very good.

No, I was not thinking of names being able to sue names. I was thinking that the x-rated site has a right to exist, no matter what it's name, and what they are doing is an expression of both "art" and "speech" - - both protected rights.

Dang. There goes my plan to change my name to "Mr. FreeAdvice" and sue the pants off this place.

However, the OP did seem to imply that he, personally, was "mentioned" on the porno site - that could, depending on what was/is actually said, be something he could act on, assuming it's something provably false (like a picture of the naked OP and a Mexican donkey).

I want to know what the OP's full legal name is what the website is and what, if anything, the site name has to do with the content of the name.

There MIGHT, just maybe, be something to this.

Hah, nice try! We know you just want the name of a gay porn web site :D

(While I agree with you that there might be something to all this, I, for one, will not be doing any research on the issue. It's all you, big boy!)

Nah, unless the OP gives us a lot more information, and meets us half way, I'm not looking up anything.

Besides, I have a screwed up next two weeks -- reserves this weekend including oral arguments on Friday and Monday, coupled with an argument next week before one of the federal circuit court of appeals. When it rains... it pours.
