My husband has a working visa and I have a dependent visa.
My daughter was born here.
My question is, me and my husband are planning to go back to our country soon, what will happen to my daughters citizenship?
We were hoping she can maintain her citizenship even if we all stay for years in our own country. How can we maintain her US citizenship?
Thanks.

I am not a lawyer but my understanding is that unless she petitions for a citizenship in another country that she will always be a US citizen regardless of where she lives.

One suggestion I have for you after you return to your home country is to register your daughter at the nearest US consulate or embassy
