firstly sorry if this is posted in an incorrect forum, I was wondering if someone could assist in a query for a business in the United Kingdom.

I am currently launching an internet business where I will be offering a 100% free to enter game/competition where you can win prizes up to a value of say $1500.

Its funded by advertising, and at no point at all will a customer pay a cent or give payment details of cards or bank accounts etc.

is it legal to run such a competition/game. I was advised there are certain US laws with regard ro free contests.

any advice or links/pointers would be appreciated.

Regards
Daryl
